🗒️Server Rules
When you join The OrchardMC, you agreeing to the following rules. You are expected to have read all these rules before playing in the server, and you accept the respective punishments listed should you break them.
If you believe you’ve been unfairly punished, you can send an appeal on our Discord. Based on the nature and context of the offense, these rules and punishments are subject to change according to staff's discretion.
Minor Rules / Punishments
English Only in Chat
Our team is only capable of moderating the chat in English; as such, use of any another language should remain within private messages or off-platform.
First offense: Verbal Warning
Second offense: Official Warning
Third Offense: 10M Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 30M Mute
Inappropriate Chat Messages
Any form of inappropriate or NSFW messages in chat, or jokes or comments which can make other users uncomfortable, are forbidden. Note that while mild swearing is allowed, we ask you to refrain from excessive swearing.
First offense: Official Warning
Second offense: 1H Mute
Third Offense: 6H Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 12H Mute
Advertising & Self-Promotion
Using the server to exclusively or excessively advertise or self-promote is not allowed. Users who join solely to promote other servers will be banned.
First offense: Verbal Warning
Second offense: Official Warning
Third Offense: 1H Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 6H Mute
Chat Flood & Disruptive Formatting
Keep chat clean and void of any spam or message flood. Additionally, avoid anything that may hinder readability: subscripts, custom fonts and symbols aren’t allowed in chat messages. Also, avoid spamming emojis as well as excessive use of caps lock or formatted text like bold or italics.
First offense: Verbal Warning

Third Offense: 30M Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 1H Mute
Disruptive Nickname Formatting
You can personalize your nickname using /nick, but keep it readable and typable. Subscript, custom fonts, emojis or symbols aren’t allowed, and neither is using your nickname for advertising purposes or to impersonate other players. Custom colors are okay as long as your name remains clear.
First offense: Verbal Warning
Second offense: Official Warning
Third Offense: 30M Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 1H Mute
Disrupting Chat & Toxic Messaging
Causing unnecessary problems or drama with other players or staff is forbidden. This includes disrespect towards other players and staff members, as well as general toxicity and excessive negativity. Please note you can /ignore players you disagree with.
First offense: Verbal Warning
Second offense: Official Warning
Third Offense: 1H Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 6H Mute
Alternate Accounts
A maximum of 1 alternate account per player is allowed (2 players per IP). In situations where multiple people are playing under the same IP, you can open a Ticket on our Discord to let us know.
First offense: Official Warning
Second offense: 1H Ban
Third Offense: 6H Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 12H Ban
Moderate Rules / Punishments
Harassment & Staff Disrespect
Harassment of any form is strictly forbidden. This includes insulting, attacking and disrupting other users or staff members. Treat others with respect at all times and refrain from any behavior that could cause harm, discomfort or distress to fellow players or staff members.
First offense: Official Warning
Second offense: 1H Mute
Third Offense: 6H Mute
Fourth+ Offense: 12D Mute
Griefing & Claim Theft
Griefing is strictly prohibited; this entails damaging someone's building or claim (and areas surrounding them), stealing their belongings, or doing anything that intentionally ruins the gameplay experience of other players. This applies even if someone trusts you in their claim. Note that to avoid these situations, you should still be cautious about who you trust in your claims.
First offense: 24H Ban
Second offense: 7D Ban
Third Offense: 14D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 30D Ban
In-Game Scamming
Scamming fellow players for in-game items or money is prohibited.
First offense: 24H Ban
Second offense: 3D Ban
Third Offense: 7D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 14D Ban
Inappropriate Builds
Any form of inappropriate or NSFW content built anywhere within the server is strictly forbidden.
First offense: Official Warning
Second offense: 1D Ban
Third Offense: 7D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 14D Ban
Punishment Evasion
Evading punishments in any way, such as using an alternate account or friend is prohibited. Note that you are still allowed to use signs to communicate even if you've been muted, as long as it abides by the rules and the offense for which you were muted is not repeated.
First offense: 1D IP-Mute/Ban
Second offense: 7D IP-Ban
Third Offense: 14D IP-Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 30D IP-Ban
Staff Impersonation
Trying to impersonate a staff member or role on the staff team is strictly prohibited. This includes doing so through your nickname or chat messages, in both the server and our Discord.
First offense: Official Warning
Second offense: 12H Mute
Third Offense: 1D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 7D Ban
Teleport Trapping
Having players teleport to you so you can trap and kill them is not allowed.
First offense: Official Warning
Second offense: 24H Ban
Third Offense: 7D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 14D Ban
Major Rules / Punishments
Hate Speech
Abusive or threatening speech or messages that express prejudice on the basis of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or similar grounds will not be tolerated.
First offense: 12H Mute
Second offense: 24H Mute
Third Offense: 7D Mute
Fourth+ Offense: Permanent Mute
Stalking & Death Threats
Any forms of stalking or messages threatening the wellbeing of a player will not be tolerated. Note that the offense and respective punishment for this offense will be evaluated by our staff with regards to the severity on a case-by-case basis.
First offense: 12H Mute
Second offense: 3D Ban
Third Offense: 7D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: Permanent Ban
Inappropriate Names or Skins
We do not allow any inappropriate names or skins on our server. This includes names that contain hateful speech or slurs and skins that have disrespectful or NSFW imagery.
First offense: 1D Ban
Second offense: 7D Ban
Third Offense: 14D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: Permanent Ban You can appeal this once the inappropriate content in question has been removed or changed, and we will evaluate it on a case-by-case basis.
Bug Abuse
Abusing any bugs on the server is forbidden. We encourage players to report any bugs that they encounter to the Staff using the appropriate channels.
First offense: 48H Ban
Second offense: 7D Ban
Third Offense: 14D Ban
Fourth+ Offense: 30D Ban
Unfair Advantage
Any form of unfair advantage is not allowed on the server. This includes any autoclickers, macros, scripts and resource packs/mods that automate/perform a function that a vanilla player cannot perform. Things such as AFK Fishing or printing using mods like Litematica are not allowed. Litematica and similar mods can still be used solely for schematic purposes.
First offense: 7D Ban
